International Rare Diseases Day
Dear AHC families, researchers and supporters,
Today, Sunday 28th February 2021, is International Rare Diseases Day
Rare Diseases Day is where the international community come together to celebrate rare diseases, raise awareness and advocate for those living with them. Individually rare diseases are rare, particularly Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood. However, collectively rare diseases are common. 1 in 17 people live with a rare disease.
